Office Assistant CUM Archive Assistant

Grade: Office Assistant
Job PurposeMaintaining files in accordance with the Bank's Archive Policy.
Key Responsibilities
- Filing and retrieving files.
- Creating and maintaining the Bank's database for quick retrieval of information and documents.
- Proper maintenance of Bank records and documents.
- Supervising record keeping regularly.
- Controlling stationery and maintaining accurate records of sensitive documents.
- Indexing records with unique references for accurate retrieval and tracking.
- Maintaining retention schedules.
- Maintaining files according to the Archive Policy.
- Performing other duties assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) or equivalent from a recognised institution.
- Certificate or Diploma in Records and Archives Management or a related field is an added advantage.
Experience
- At least 2 years' experience as a Records In-Charge in a reputable organisation.

- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.

- Integrity.
- Teamwork.
- Emotional intelligence.
- Up-to-date knowledge of Records Management.
Preferably below 40 years, although management reserves the right to consider candidates outside this age range based on qualifications and experience.
